This program has three prerequisite courses: IMED 1316, ITNW 1325 and ITSC 1325. Successful completion of these three courses is necessary to continue in the program. The two 1325 courses are taught in this program and are listed below. IMED 1316 is an Applied Business Program course.

Blinn and CSISD agree to new technical dual credit/tech prep program.

BLINN UPDATE June 2008

In the fall, Blinn College will offer its first dual credit option involving technical education classes. Computer Information Technology program coordinator Robert Nelson reported that in late May 2008 Blinn and College Station I.S.D. finalized an agreement for a dual credit/tech prep option for A&M Consolidated High School Computer Maintenance students. It involves two classes. Technical education dual credit coordinator Vic Reid, grants coordinator Karen Buck, and Tech Prep executive director Jim Lang participated in the negotiations.
